Family Camp is an annual time for us to join together as one big family.
One weekend each summer we travel to Camp Camrec just outside of Leavenworth, Washington for a time of fun and fellowship. This is a time for everyone: singles, couples, and families, young and old, all who call SFC home. This is a time we gather as the Family of God.
The Activities
Table games, softball, Homerun derby, hiking, horseshoes, ping pong, campfires, singing, devotions, and free time. Nearby recreation includes: shopping in Leavenworth, swimming at Lake Wenatchee, wading in the Wenatchee or Chiwawa Rivers, scenic drives, mountain biking, and hiking.
There is a volleyball court, tennis court, a basketball court and a large open field available to be used.
Location
Camp Camrec is located on 240 acres of forest in the eastern foothills of the Cascade Mountains about 12 miles north of Leavenworth. The camp facilities included a dining hall/meeting room, fully equipped kitchen, 9 A-frame cabins, restrooms with showers.
